For those of you who know me, I am not one to wear a lot of makeup, not because I don't like it or am an au naturel devotee but mainly because I am allergic to almost all makeup, even many hypoallergenic ones. When I do wear makeup it is super basic and easy to apply because I never developed the habit of gussying up my face and generally just resort to applying some sunscreen and Bob's your uncle! That said, with all the quarantine Zoom-based, up close and personal in your face meetings, I am acutely aware that I need to up my vogue face game! Insert Glossier and shop now on Instagram. I am now the proud owner of Futuredew and Lidstar, the perfect go-to in a pinch before hopping on a Zoom call. A few dabs of Futuredew on my cheeks, nose, and forehead along with a swipe or two of some Moon Lidstar on my crepey eyelids and I look *almost* new. Not 23-year-old skin new, but more like gently used, vintage condition, with a lovely dew like patina. Glossier's packaging is so chic that I just keep these crutches on my desk which makes it easy to reach for in a pinch.
Plus look how gorgeous they look on this oushak rug in my bedroom?! It's like they were meant for one another! At the very least, meant for my tired ass face and lids!
